Amazon makes book buying on Twitter a simple click away with #AmazonCart

Twitter Amazon CartNow Amazon makes it even easier for authors to promote their books through Twitter. If a Twitter user has connected their Twitter account to their Amazon account, they can shop right from Twitter by replying to the tweet that includes an product link and adding “#AmazonCart.”.  By doing so, the book now sits in their Amazon shopping cart waiting for their next visit. This new feature also works for “#AmazonWishList”.

As a compulsive reader and a multi-tasker, this new #AmazonCart feature is a blessing. No need to stop what I’m doing on Twitter to search for the book on Amazon. And for authors, this feature is seamless in promoting your book, new readers are one click away.

This is how you do it:

1- Connect your Twitter account to your Amazon account

2- Reply with #AmazonCart to any tweet containing an Amazon product link

3- Finish shopping later – the item has been added to your Cart
